Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information AppMacha Labs ("we", "us") handles when you use appmacha.com and the products sold here, currently SafetyClip. Guidejar has its own privacy policy.
The SafetyClip app
- SafetyClip runs on your Mac and works offline. It never sends your clipboard, history or any other personal data to us or anyone else.
- License: when you activate SafetyClip, it sends your license key and your Mac's model (for example "Mac14,2", never your Mac's name) to Dodo Payments to check the key, and it re-checks the key the same way about once a month.
- Updates: off by default. They happen only when you click Check for Updates or turn on automatic checks. The app then requests the update feed from appmacha.com, which forwards to GitHub, and downloads any new version from GitHub. Every update is signed, and the app installs only updates signed by us.
- These are the only network requests the app makes. The hosts involved see standard request details such as your IP address.
- Your clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, encrypted. Secrets are additionally sealed by your Mac's Secure Enclave.
- The app has no accounts, analytics, tracking or crash reporting.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. They collect your payment and billing details under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, country and order details so we can deliver the app and your license key, provide support and keep business records. We never see your full card or UPI details. If you connect GitHub to get the source code, your GitHub username is used to invite you to the repository, and GitHub shows us that account as a collaborator.
This website
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people visit and where they came from. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites, and we can't identify you from it. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may also keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requests, for security and reliability.
To measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram, the SafetyClip product page and the page you see after buying load the Meta Pixel. It isn't loaded for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland. It tells Meta about your visit, clicks on the buy button, and completed purchases with their price. It can set cookies, and Meta can connect this to your Meta account under its own privacy policy. We don't send Meta your name, email address or license key, and nothing from the SafetyClip app or your clipboard. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or with a content blocker.
Our live chat uses Zoho SalesIQ. It loads on every page of this site except the page you see after buying. It can set cookies and tells Zoho about your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and your approximate location, even if you don't start a chat. If you do, your messages and anything you share in them are stored with Zoho, and we use them only to help you. Zoho handles this under its own privacy policy. Please don't paste license keys or passwords into the chat.
If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you and only use it for that.
